My name is Mianzhi Hu (aka Rudolf) and I’m a third-year Psychology major undergraduate student. I’m interested in learning about people’s cognitive patterns and also curious about their underlying mechanisms. More specifically, I care a lot about how and why people with mental illness (e.g., depression) would think differently and their abnormal cognitive patterns. My goal is not only to identify a specific cognitive pattern, but to unfold the phenomenon and understand how it is discovered and why this happens. There is a saying in China – “know what, but more importantly, know why”. In my spare time, I’m a NBA basketball fan and an “addicted” gamer, league of legend in particular!
